The SPLC attacked my friend (Freedom Fest 2022)

The SPLC attacked my friend (Freedom Fest 2022)

Freedom Fest is "the largest gathering of free minds in the world." After a one year stint in South Dakota, this year's iteration returned to Las Vegas.

And I returned with it.

Longtime followers of mine may recall that I attended Freedom Fest in 2016. I even gave it a little writeup. Interesting to note, my 2016 Freedom Fest attendance coincided with my shoutout on the Tom Woods Show (way back on episode 694).

This year marked the first time (to my knowledge) that a so many of the Libertarian Institute was physically together in one place. In attendance were myself, Scott Horton, Keith Knight, Kyle Anzalone, and Connor Freeman.

Fortunately, Scott did think to take a picture.

The highlight of my experience was getting to meet so many great people and to hang out with the guys.

I also got to hang out with the infamous Reed Coverdale.

I was very happy Reed made it out to the event and that we got to hang out together. I was even with Reed when he found out he had been smeared by the SPLC.

Naturally, we thought of more shenanigans we could get up to, mainly, asking the Epoch Times for an interview about organ harvesting.

Sadly, we did not get a call-back.

I did, however, give Scott an interview about my newest article "Credibility and the Xinjiang Police Files." The interview ran on KPFK in Los Angeles.

Aside from getting brought on the Libertarian Institute and getting published at Antiwar.com, the interview is the highlight of my liberty career.

Meanwhile, I had meant to collect several interviews on the conference floor, but we were so busy networking that it had to wait until the last day of the conference.

And sure enough, when I finally sat down to do it, I couldn't get my USB mics to run on separate tracks, something I only realized after I had already recorded a 30 minute interview with Connor Freeman.

So for my premium subscribers, I will include my video footage of that interview below as bonus content, with fair warning that the camera's audio is not up to my standards--meaning that its potato quality.

But, you can definitely hear a Freedom Fest attendee try to argue with Scott in the background of the video.

It's fun.

All in all, it was a great event and I can't wait to see everyone again.

If you want to help support my content (maybe for me to buy a suitable camera mic) and get access to bonus and early access content like this, please sign up for a premium plan at $5/month or $55 annually.

Also, a reminder that I will be hosting my monthly livestream for premium members this Thursday night at 8 pm central time.
